DSM (Deep Soil Mixing)

Deep soil mixing (DSM) is a technique in which a vertical ground barrier and / or a foundation without vibrations can be realized. The existing soil is mixed underground with water and cement (building material) to build a wall or foundation resistant to water: the soil is broken up during drilling, by a special rotating tool and is mixed with the cement injected at low pressure during the ascent of the tool. The result is called Soil Mix.

The machine with which this technique is made allows the entrapment of the soil to which water and cement are added to create a mortar that can be reinforced with steel.
